Announced at PMA 2009, the Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM Canon wide-angle zoom lens features a constant f/3.5 maximum aperture (EX) and is equipped with a hypersonic motor (HSM). |

The Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, a very light and small equivalent to a 16-35mm on a 35mm camera, is well suited for landscape or indoor photography. For example, the non-rotating front element eases the use of polarizing and graduated filters, which are very popular for landscape photography. It is to be noticed that this wide angle zoom can focus at a distance down to 24 cm. Its Super UD glass lens and its two aspherical elements perform should give it a good image quality. Let's see if the DxOMark measures confirm this. |

Our camera lens database keeps growing and this time we are adding the Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 HSM. This wide-angle lens is available for Nikon and Canon cameras fitted with an APS-C sensor. This lens offers an equivalent 12*24mm for 24*36 sensors. In addition to the previously reviewed Sigma 12-24mm f4.5-5.6 EX DG Canon mount and Nikon mount, these new results will give us a clear overview on how Sigma scores on entry-level wide-angle lenses. |
