The Sony SLT-Alpha 37 entry-level APS-C replaces the Sony SLT-A35 in Sony's product line, but its design is very comparable to the Sony A33. Just like its predecessor and its bigger brother the Sony SLT A57, the A37 is based on Sony's semi transparent mirror system.
Targeting the lower part of the market, it still offers a 16.1 megapixel sensor, the last Bionz processing chip, a QVGA screen of 2.7", ISO settings up to 16,000 ISO, an integrated flash, a burst rate up to 7 fps and video recording at 1080p/60i and 1080p/24. Available end of May for 500 euros, 600 euros with a 18-55 mm, 800 euros with a 55-200 mm and 18-55 mm or a 18-135 mm.
