Kenko-Tokina SD 17-35mm F4 AT-X PRO FX lens for Nikon and Canon cameras launched

The newly-merged Kenko-Tokina company has released the SD 17-35mm F4 AT-X PRO FX a new lens for Nikon and Canon cameras.
The new lens will be released according to Kenko-Tokina on differed dates, on late August for the Canon mount and the end of September for the Nikon mount.
It will be marketed as a wide-angle zoom lens with a 17mm to 35mm focal length achieving a constant of F4.
Weighing 600g, with a maximum diameter of 94.5mm and a length of 89mm it is poised to give a pretty compacted look.
